Easy question - 32 bit vs 64 bit RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All...
Can a (presumably) 64-bit IE browser running on a 64-bit OS load and execute a 32-bit Active-X control?
    Many thanks...

  • 64-bit versions of Windows contain both a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of IE. The 32-bit one is the default, largely because the 64-bit version cannot run 32-bit Active-X controls.
