Blend 2013 xaml intellisense problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I installed VS2013 express for Windows and I use Blend for UI design.

The xaml intellisense doesn't work, how can I fix it?

    Thanks

Answers

  • You can edit in the Visual Studio Xaml editor if you need IntelliSense. Blend does not implement IntelliSense.

  • Blend for Windows Phone and WPF implements intellisense, why not for Windows store?

VS2013 has a great xaml editor, but i really like Blend for UI design and this include manually write xaml

  • Are you kidding me?

    This is your answer?

Blend implements intellisense for Phone and WPF but not for Windows 8 apps?? At a time when MS is suffering marketshare loss to Google, I think MS should improve their development producta to win back developer loyalty cause right now with ridiculous things like this, that's not happening?

We shouldn't have to switch between two applications to develop. I developed in IntelliJ for Android and let me tell you, VERY good tool for mobile app development on Android.
