authorizing app offline vs online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi to all,

Our application is using the offline mode to connect to HV. We are using the XML api to do so. When we go through the CreateConnectRequest scenario, we receive the record and person id back, and from this we are able to connect to the patient record. We would like to be able to use the "Online scenario" to do the registration. So, we have a scenario where our web app redirects to the shell. From this, we only receive a selrecordid value. After this, the call GetAuthorizedConnectRequests does not include the online registrated patient, only the offline scenarios.

Is there something that I don't get? How can we get a list of records available to our application in offline mode? GetAuthorizedConnectRequests seems to only return records that were added with the offline scenario

    Thank you

  • Does GetAuthorizedPeople work for you?  This will give you ALL persons and records authorized...  (I guess you will get BOTH online and offline - I could be wrong here)

Added:  You are right in that GetAuthorizedConnectRequess only returns the records authorized using the CreateConnectRequest .

  • Hi Rajesh,

That did the trick. The list I was looking at did not include the GetAuthorizedPeople method : http://developer.healthvault.com/sdk/docs/index.html

vs this one that has it: http://developer.healthvault.com/methods/methods.aspx

    Thank you
