Downloading a CSV file from a web site through VB Net core RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm new to this forum. Does anyone know how to download a csv file from a web site ? I know I have to use either a curl such as "https://...." or a GET URL. But I'm not dure of the syntax.   Thanks.

  • You can use :

    My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile("http://samplecsvs.s3.amazonaws.com/SalesJan2009.csv", "c:\test.csv")

  • Hi Carlos307,

    Thank you for posting here.

    According to your question, I install the .NET Core 2.0. Please try the following code for reference.

      Dim myWebClient As New WebClient()
            myWebClient.DownloadFile("http://....", "Path to save the file")

    I test the code. It works well for me.

    For more details, please refer to the MSDN article.
