Can I delete the sub-layer in another process? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys.

I'm using WFP to develop a firewall application, but I've come across a problem. First I add a sub-layer and then I add some filters on the sub-layer. But if my application crashes, I cannot found a way to delete the filters or the sub-layer until the machine reboot.

So my question is, is there any way to delete the sub-layer or filters in another process?

Any reply is appreciated, thank u.

  • Problem solved.

I enumerate all the filters and delete the filter added by me.

  • Yes, but no other object can be referencing the sublayer.  This rule would apply to callouts, providers, provider contexts as well.
