How to ignore the failure in the output as the case actually rerun passed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a question that Is there any way to ignore the first failure in the output as it actually rerun passed on vsts? Here' s the sample:

    1. the case failed in the first run

    Total tests: 50. Passed: 42. Failed: 1. Skipped: 7.
    Test execution time: 27.0357 Minutes
    ##[error]Test Run Failed.

    2. the case passed after rerun

    Total tests: 1. Passed: 1. Failed: 0. Skipped: 0.

    3. From the notification email, the error info still in the details.

How can I remove or ignore the error info from notification when the case passed with rerun? Can any one help me?

    Thanks,

    Ding

  • Hi Leslu,

    Sorry for delay in reply.

According to your description, I could not reproduce this issue in our side. So in order to get a more concreted idea of this issue, I would appreciate you to do the following suggestions for further troubleshooting:

##1 Please run the test project on the local machine, and check if this issue occurs. If it persists, could you show messages or screen shots about it, so that I can do further analysis on the error?

##2 If the issue just occurs on vsts, we suggest you could open a new issue in developer Community with vsts tag since our forum is discussing about unit test in VS IDE. And More community members on that forum may further look at your issue and provide more suggestions. Thank you for understanding.

    Look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,

    Dylan
