Azure Storage Issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • What is the deal with cloud storage? Sometimes, I be first to hit a storage repository to access a group of files and the first few times, it will deny me access and then later in they day I'll come back and it will work. Why does this happen

Here's an example, The Microsoft Tech Summit

The 92 files are posted here,

But when I access them I get these errors:

  • My other files are too large so I have to edit them. They're posted below:

  • Thanks for sharing the info, could you provide me with the actual links you are encountering the issues with ?
I'd like to verify if this is an issue in our end or yours or the network hops in between.

    Thanks,

  • There were 92 sessions so I can't do that. Also, there were some duplicates.

    I'll post the sessions though:

  • Some of the links are to Azure Blob storage and some are to a service called "LiveFile"

  • I tried to replicate the issue, but I was able to download the presentations without any issues. I haven't seen the comments from other users as well complaining about the issue. I'd recommend doing a traceroute or wireshark packet capture and check where the download fails. I'd also recommend posting at the bottom of the articles since the content is managed and monitored there as well.
Let me know if you have any questions

  • That's a typical answer. The file shares are cold and then someone warms them up. Microsoft needs to make them hot so they don't go cold again for the next group. I still don't have the presentations and I spent and 1 1 1/2 dealing with the hassles. Look at the pictures above and do the way I said above or fix it.

If I have to do it again and post to confirm your a liar I'll do it. I'm tired of being an unpaid bug tester for Microsoft.
