App failed validation due to problem with licence check RRS feed

    Hi,

    I've also posted this on the "Publishing Apps for the Office Store" forum but haven't got a response, so I thought I would also try here. I've attempted to submit an App to the SharePoint app store and it failed validation due to an apparent issue with my code that checks if the licence is valid. 

    I've developed and tested my licence check code using the App Licence testing tool provided by Microsoft (https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/officeapps/sharepoint-2013-import-f5f680a6). I've tested it multiple times, trying combinations of free, trial, paid with valid and expired licences. It works 100% for me with all combinations of licencing.

    My application is SharePoint hosted and only uses JavaScript. My licence check code is based on this post http://keutmann.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/sharepoint-2013-hosted-app-license-check.html. 

    Any help would very much be appreciated!

    Hi,

    According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about the App Licence.

    As you have known, the issue is related to the App licence, the best suitable forum is Publishing Apps for the Office Store.

    However, for this issue, I recommend you can create a simple app, then submit to SharePoint app store to check whether it works.

    This method would narrow down whether the issue is related to your app or the app store.
