Regardint the application id of the healthvault application RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • In the site http://blogs.msdn.com/healthvault/archive/2008/05/28/healthvault-application-configuration-center.aspx, it is said as: "If you already have an application id on the development servers, you can submit a request to have that application associated with your user account. You do this through the submit form, where you can specify the id and name of the application you want to claim. Note that you also need to send an email so it's easier to match you with your application."

Are they referring the helloworld sample applicatio id above? If yes, where can I find the submit form to match the application id with the application? If no, how can i create an application application?

  • Hello World sample application has all the data types included and is ready to run the application, once the certificate is imported into HealthVault Application Manager which comes with SDK.

If you have created a New Application, right click on the certificate > upload the certificate to platform and if you dont see your Application ID in Application Configuration Center, you need to submit a request to have that application associated with user account and also you need to send an email. you need not submit a request for Hello World sample and also if you see your Application ID in Application Configuration Center.

    Hope this helps...

  • No, that post is not referring how on how to to take control of Hello World application id but instead an application id if you had provisioned before configuration site came into existence - good old days - where there were no configuration site :)

For you to create an application id, the best place is to view the following video on how to accomplish that
