How to decide if S1 or S2 is good(how many users it can support?) RRS feed

    I am not getting clear idea if we have 200 overall users and small to medium size database(not huge) for an app can we use below database?

    S1 20 250 GB ~$29.99/mo

  • Hello,

    Based on the benchmark you should go with a P2 tier. P1 allows you a maximum of 200 users so you have to go to the next tier P2 that have a maximum of 400 users and can handle 200 very well.

  • How many concurrent users vs overall users? If 200 overall, but no more the 50 concurrent - you have many choices depending on your performance requirements. If approaching 200 concurrent users, you would be looking at S3 or one of the Premium tiers (and possibly Premium RS under certain conditions).
