Please help me with this error .Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

Almost stepnt the whole day searching for the answer .I have tried everything from ;Connection Timeout=600; to pooling='true'; Max Pool Size=200" to everything..I have a query in the data source which i need to run and it takes some time.This Timeout is really annoying !

Would really apreciate some help .

cmd.CommandTimeout

Add this when u execute a query in sqlcommand...

i am suing a Data source since i hacve a few nested gridviews lined up ..not sure the 

Ado commoad will work  "cmd.CommandTimeout" will work

Not sure？Plz try to set TimeOut in both Connection and Command and have a play with that。Welcome your feedback！

My opinion is that you must check your connection parameters. The answer can be probably found in the database side
