Formatação de Registro - TextBox em HTML

Tenho um textbox em um formulário e muitas vezes as pessoas copiam informações de aplicativos diversos como WORD, Excel, E-mails, etc.
Quando eu leio o valor do textbox e salvo no SQL, a formatação original é perdida (espaços, cores, etc)
Como faço para forçar salvar esta formatação no base?Utilizo Visual Studio Express para Web 2012 - SQL Server 2008

Obrigada Chuck! Fiz a alteração e vi que ele salva toda formatação no sql mesmo. Agora outra duvida, é possível limpar todo o html depois? Numa ação contraria?

Para limpar o texto, basta usar
RichTextBox1.Clear()
