No need for --isolation=hyperv on windows 10? RRS feed

  • Question

  • As I understand containers in Windows 10 are all run as hyperv containers, if so how come I don't need to supply the "--isolation=hyperv" argument?

  • Docker client has been made intelligent to detect if you are running on Windows Client or Server. If Client, it internally forces to HyperV containers automatically. No need to pass it any more.
