PreBuild Event in Visual Studio

Hi,

By using prebuild event in visual studio to copy file from local to server, the command prompt is trigger from local or server?

Please advise.

It should be executed on the local machine (or whatever machine is performing the build action).

But the script is locate at server, run from local. The command prompt also from local?
