  • Hello,

    On one hand it's a SQL Server setting, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189357(SQL.105).aspx =>Max Degree of Parallelism and max degree of parallelism Option

    And also in queries you can control the max degree of parallelism with OPTION (maxDOP); see Query Hints
