  • Hello farmerkk1,

Exchange Impersonation (aka Server-to-Server Auth) involves permissions set on the Exchange Server. A client/server application written in any IDE, such as VS2005, VS2008, VS2010, Eclipse, etc, can use Exchange Impersonation to "Act As" any user.

Please read Server-to-Server Authorization for more information. Click on the links at the bottom of that page for more information.

    With regards,

    Michael | Microsoft Exchange SDK
