query on Driver Certification: Filter Drivers RRS feed

  • Hi,

     

    I am implementing proprietary ICS feature using WFP in Windows7. Do this need to undergo any certification process, if so guide me.

  • Logo is a choice, not a requirement.  At this time the Network Security portion of the WLK focuses on firewalls and general functionality associated with being a firewall.  If you are just implementing ICS, then these tests are not geared towards your product at this time.  it would be in your best interest though to run through some of the tests (esp. the general driver tests) regardless of whether you choose to go for the logo or not
