Blank page is created after the first page when data equivalent to one page is available RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created a report in ssrs 2008 which contains header, and in the body I have a table, a tablix and two hidden variables. When the data is populated, if data is available for more than one page then the reports are fine as two pages are displayed  but if data is available for only one page then a blank page is added as 2nd page.  As data is not there why two pages are getting created?

  • Check that there is no space after the last object, the height of the report should stop after the last object. Especially the hidden ones, even if they are hidden, they will take up the space which might be the reason the report is spilling over to the next page

Else, It is the width which is causing the issue. The report  width + left margins + right margins should be less than the inetractive width, else it will spill over to the next page...

Please make  width  of the report smaller......
