Project GUID for ASP.NET Dynamic Data Web Application?

Hi all,

I need to write a method which determines whether someone has added a ASP.NET Dynamic Data Web Application to an existing solution. I had assumed that parsing the solution or project files would provide me with a unique GUID but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can determine this, without being able to visually inspect the project?

That is really a VS question, not DD. Can you try posting to the Visual Studio 2008 forum?

Hi Paul,

there is not specific GUID associated to a "Dynamic Data Project". A Dynamic Data web site or WAP template is essentially the same as a vanila web site or WAP template, but it has some extra things in web.config and a bunch of pages.
