Best Practice for User-Management / Document Management RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am planning to connect a Azure Cloud to our "Management Software".

I got the specification to use one azure account with serveral containers for ours customers.
Another spec is that the creator of a blob has readwrite rights and all others have only read-rights. (further protected by md5)

I also use a WCF Service that holds the Azure Account ConnectionString and shares SAS's to the clients.

What's best practice for managing the rights? For example User "Peter" has creator-rights on Blob "1,2,5 and 7 in Container C"
Clients upload Blobs. Where do I store the rights? Best practice = in cloud f.e. aus metadata?

Opposite View example: Blob Nr 1, these Users have creator-rights and there have reader-rights.

How would experienced devs build it?

Whould you argument with your CEO to use one azure account per customer. If yes, why?

    Greetings and thx in advance
