Wince 6.0 has no icon to enter my router information RRS feed

  • This is the third time I've been asked to move this question to a different forum. If this is not the correct forum, please move it to the corrent forum.

I have a Smart Book computer running on Wince 6.0 The wifi feature is not working. I turn on the wifi power then double click the computer icon on the taskbar with the red X. A FETCE6B1 window appears but no icon for wifi information is there. Consequently, I can't enter my router information to enable the wifi feature.

The wifi driver RT28701 appears not to be working.  Re-installing the driver might help but I can't find it on the web. Is there a link within Microsoft to download the driver?

    Thank you,

  • Unfortunately, you have reached the wrong forum again...

This forum is for people creating CE images (kernels) using Platform Builder. The only one who can answer your questions is the manufacturer of the device, in this case your "Smart Book". Windows CE is an operating system that is modified to match the exact hardware configuration of the device it runs on. The only one with enough info to answer your question is the device manufacturer (and we can't move you to their forum).

    Good luck,
