Cannot delete files from Blob Containers\ingestiondata folder in Azure

    Question

  • I can upload files using Azcopy without issue. However, when I try to delete filesfrom Azure Storage using the Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer, I received: Deleting 'file.PST'. Resource not found. Do you have the required permissions?

Since I'm using the global admin of the tenant, I'd assume that I had permissions to delete them but apparently not. How can I delete these files now they have been imported into their mailboxes?

For reference I'm following this process for using O365's network upload tool to import PST files to Office 365:

  • Thanks for the information. Does it mean I don't need to take care of those files and these will be removed in 60 days after the import process?

    Thanks.
