Cannot get Token from Sid? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Eventlog Error: FSLogix Apps / Operational - Event-ID 26. User: SYSTEM.

    As soon as a user-account logs in or out the eventlog gets flooded by those "Cannot get Token from Sid" errors. Everything works fine though. I can't find any problems that might cause this. The FSLogix forums had no answer so far, maybe I get lucky here?

    This happens on a fully patched WS16 with RDS and Ctx VDA 1903.1.0.21161.

    I tested this with v.2.9.6964.52690, v.2.9.6999.2588 and now with the latest v.2.9.7117.27413.

    I use Profile-Container and O365-Container. The Profile-Container are using Cloud-Cache with two On-Prem storage servers only.

    Any ideas? Cheers!

  • Where are these showing up? In the event viewer? Can you post the details of one here?

  • Yes, in the Event-Viewer. Generated on the Terminalserver a user-session is opened or closed aka. where the VHDX gets mounted and unmounted. VHDX Storage are two 2012R2 SMB shares, created with the help of all the best-practice help around the FSLogix forums and docs etc.

    So here we go:

    [Applications and Services Logs] -> [FSLogix] -> [Apps] -> [Operational]

    <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

      <Data Name="Error">0</Data>
      <Data Name="Message">Cannot get Token from Sid</Data>
      </EventData>
      </Event>

    They appear when the User logs in, during the session and when the user logs out. During log-in/out 10.. or more in a row while the Information-Event says: "Profile load: Status: 0x0  Reason: 0x0  Error: 0x0  Username: ***  SID: S-1-5-21-2774724093....". Like I said, everything seems to work fine.

  • Hi,

    we have the same failure on Windows 10 1809 (Hardware machine)

    The Profile-Container are using Cloud-Cache technology with two dedicated storage servers, but without O365 Container.

    v.2.9.7117.27413. also running.

    thanks!

  • I don't know what could be happening here.

    If Micah doesn't have input, I would open a support case on this.

  • Did you get an answer on this one?

    Thanks for your help!

  • We have looked into the errors and they are not indicating a real problem.  I understand that having them fill up the log file is not convenient. They will begin to appear after enabling the Cloud Cache feature.  I have logged a bug, and we will get them cleaned up in future release.  Thank you for the report!
