  • In stack overflow, you have the ability to get a email whenever a question regarding a topic is asked (i.e, question on smallbasic). How do i do that here? I cant seem to figure it out.

  • I don't think there is a way to subscribe to a particular topic, as we don't tag the topic when we post. So the forum has no idea what a topic is on.

  • Right above the question mark there is an "Alert me" button.

  • yeah, i know that, i done that to my own posts, but how woul di know if someone asked a new question? i know how to be alerted on new activity of a post, but how do i get alerted when a question comes up in the forum, not in a post?

  • I don't know but it would be a good feature. You'd get a lot of emails though.

  • No, I get an rss feed - not sure its much help though really.  Perhaps you need to be logged in to MSDN?
