SetIsCursorVisible RRS feed

  • Question

  • What exactly does it do? The HandPointer is still visible? Do I need a manual engagement for this to work?

    Thanks!

  • The right thing for one to use when they want a KinectRegion to effectively be disabled is:

                KinectCoreWindow.OverrideKinectInteractionMode(KinectInteractionMode.Off);

    This api needs to be called on a timer...every 33ms (once a frame).

    The SetIsCursorVisible can used by IKinectControllers -- to temporarily hide a cursor...such as you see when interacting with a slider. I do not think this is what you want to do here...as buttons can still be pressed.

    Thanks, Rob
