Cost Resource Type RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Do you know why Microsoft just provide the types Work and Material? Ok, there is another "NotSpecified"... Why isn´t there Cost?

The context is Project Server 2013, not 2010. And the question is relevant for the library that Microsoft provide Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client

    Thanks!

  • There is a cost-type resource - it's accessible from the Client and via VBA:

  • Andrew,

I have edited my original post. Do you get now my idea?

    Thanks!

  • Cost resources may not be edited from the PSI.  They're only accessible via the Project Pro client - or they were in 2010.  Can't remember if 2013 is any different, but I doubt it.

Conclusion: they're not as accessible from code as material or work resources are.
