Missing .PDF icon associations

    Question

  • Hi,

I just installed Adobe Reader 10.1.0.0 but, I see WD like another icons doesn't show its Icon association until you open it, so I opened a PDF file but missing association still happens:

Adobe Reader shortcut doesn't have missing association, neither Adobe in Win8 taskbar, just in Windows Explorer, I mean, Adobe Reader works fine.

  • Just double click on the .pdf file and you should get a popup that asks you what program you want to use for this type of file. After this it should open automatically using that program.

Thanks Apexa but there is not problem with App association, there is problem only with Icon association, as I said, Adobe Reader works fine.
