Insufficient memory

    Question

  • Good Morning,

I've installed Windows 7 Embedded on a laptop PC ACER ASPIRE 5720Z with 2 GB RAM memory.

Trying the Microsoft Windows Update process I received the message: "Insufficient memory".

It seems (but I'm not sure) that the Error code is: 8007000E. This number is shown in the Windows Update window.

Please, can you assist me and explain why the memory is "insufficient" ?

    What is the problem ?

    Best Regards.

    Jawed.

  • I use the default online update process.

Sincerely I don't know other methods to update Windows OSes.

    Are maybe other ways ?

  • When you installed the OS did you include the run time key?

Is EWF or FBWF enabled in the image? If either of these are enabled, then this is the reason for the low memory error.

Where did you get the Windows 7 Embedded DVD/ISO?
