Hide controls in MediaPlayer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have to embedd a MediaPlayerMobile Control into an HTML page.
    I would hide the controls (paly, stop, volume..)
    The relative code is

    <BODY>
    	<OBJECT id="VIDEO" width="320" height="240"
    	style="position:absolute; left:0;top:0;"
    	CLASSID="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
    	type="application/x-oleobject">
    	<PARAM name="uiMode" value="none">

    </OBJECT>

    but in the WM5 emulator appear anyway all controls. Why? What is the mistake?

  • Hi,

    This is a known bug on WM5.0. Same as you observed, uiMode property does not set in WMP on WM5.

  • Ok, thanks.
    In this moment I can't test it, but is it a WM5 emulator problem or I get the same result in real device?

  • Hi,

    You can try to use OpenNETCF Media Player Controls as alternative.
