    I would probably say because of such high speed a car can go, no. If you need to measure such high speeds, I don't think kinect would have enough data to measure.

  • As stated depends on speed. The camera is only capable of sampling at 30fps(~33 ms). if the object enters and leaves the field of view(FoV) faster then that, you will not be able to determine distance/time.

    Geertsw, Carmine explained way better than me. IF you need something to measure something faster than what Carmine stated, it won't work :D
