Unable to Add SendGrid from Market place RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI All,

I've been following the instructions on this blog for our site that I've created in Azure with Wordpress:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/davedev/archive/2013/08/15/how_2d00_to_2d00_i_2d00_send_2d00_email_2d00_with_2d00_wordpress_2d00_hosted_2d00_on_2d00_azure_2d00_websites.aspx

However - I've got a small problem, it seems that I cannot access the market place on the current manage.azure.com portal, but I can on the new portal. But in this instance Sendgrid hasn't been added to the preview portal and all I get on the current management portal is a message that links off to this : http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/partner-program/

Which give no information as to why I cannot access the market place to add the send grid service!

Any Ideas or suggestions welcome :)

    Thanks

  • Hi Craig,

If you want to use SendGrid feature on Azure, you need  purchase it firstly. I recommend you follow this document to subscribe it. And if you want to subscribe it for your account, you must be the service administrator permission.

Also, you can try to contact the Azure support team via this link:

  • The first link "http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles /sendgrid-dotnet-how-to-send-email/" is bad.

I have been working with the Azure support team and they alternate between asking questions when prompted and not getting back to me.

My customer view is that you didn't even start to answer the question as you gave ZERO helpful advice.

  • Hi Craig,

I have updated the link like this:

    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/sendgrid-dotnet-how-to-send-email/

Did you contact the Azure Billing team? Generally, They will give you response in 24 hours. Would you like share the case ID number, I will involve other people to handle this issue by your case number.

    Regards,

    Will
