Outlook 2010 add-ins missing RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am an IT manager for a small company and surprisingly I haven't needed to do this until now but I'm trying to create an Outlook add-in (2010). I have downloaded Visual Studio 2013 and apparently when you choose New>Projects>Outlook add-in you should see options for 2010 and 2013. I can only see 2013 add-ins? I have Outlook 2010 installed on the developer PC. do you know what I'm doing wrong - I believed the 2010 option would just be there. I use VBS and VBA a bit but up to now I've not practised deployment.  Sharp learning curve??? Is this something you could help with - pointers?

Finally, you can read more about Office extensibility technologies in MSDN .
