Azure VPN tunnel suddenly unstable RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have recently developed an issue with our site to site tunnel. It is now randomly dropping for a few seconds at a time.

Our end is a Cisco ASA 5510. It was running well for a couple weeks and on Monday of this week it started becoming unstable.

I am able to force the tunnel to drop if I start a large datastream between the sites. For example, if I tell the two servers in my couchbase cluster (one in LA, the other in Azure) to rebalance, it never gets above 10% and I see the tunnel drop.

Our other site to site tunnels to our other offices are not seeing this behavior, and the WAN interface of our firewall is clean
