  • Hi, I get a very cryptic message from Windows Vista when I try to execute this program, FTPExplorer.exe. It's an ftp program. Like my Paint Shop Pro program it ran when first loaded but once you closed it out it would never start again. The event log is as follows:

    I did some research on this ftpexplorer.exe.  (http://www.ftpx.com/faq.html) You might try contacting that link.  The crash report you are seeing is simply the report generated in Vista when it goes down.  However, it doesn't look like the company behind it has filed any responses via Windows Error Reporting.  For Crashes and Responses, type WERCON on the start menu.  Sorry we don't have better information for you.  Feel free to contact me directly with more specific questions (a-brward at microsoft dot com)
