Single Sign On (SSO) not working for any browser except for IE RRS feed

I am not sure where to start or how to ask for help properly

We have an ASP.NET web application that uses SSO. The SSO works perfectly in production, but it doesn't work in stage (except for the IE browsers)

    • Staging site has exact settings in IIS as in Prod.
    • Staging site has exact settings in Web.config as in Prod.
    • Staging site has exact settings in Folder securities as in Prod.

The domain name appeared different, but both domains are in the local intranet. In the Web.config we tried to update the Windows Authentication, impersonate = true/false (both did not work)

I wonder if anyone can give any pointer on where to look or what to check

Thank you very much in advance!

What does not working properly mean?  What SSO framework are you using?  It seems like you might be using Windows Authentication?  If so, IE support Windows Authentication out of the box.  Other browsers must be configured to use Windows authentication without prompting the user.

Are there any specific steps on how to configure Chrome browser for a SSO?

Thank you very much once again!

SSO is a broad term.  I assume you are asking how to enable Windows Integrated Authentication in Chrome.  Simply add the domain to the local intranet site on every client machine.  You can Google this information as well. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7800938/how-to-enable-auto-logon-user-authentication-for-google-chrome
