Help! How to start mini with opening a url ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am developing the program using C# on WM 6.
    I want to start mini with opening the URL from my program.
    How should I do?
    Thank u very much!

    I had try to pass the URL as the parameter...... but It's failed.   (ProcessInfo.CreateProcess)

    If mini don't support parameter, can u add it?
    There are more and more programs on mobiles, I think "start parameter"
    will be good for mini.

    I installed Opera and tried it. It worked perfectly. Hope it helps you.

     private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
          System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(@"\Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\Opera10-armv4i.exe", @"www.malleswar.com");
        }

  • Hi,

    Have you not tried this?

    System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("iexplore.exe", @"path to the .htm file");

    (or)

    System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("iexplore.exe", "URL");

    Yes, it works. But you are using "opera mobile" not "opera mini" :(

    Mini download: http://www.operachina.com/mini/download/

  • Hi D.Kart,

    Firstly, like Malleswar's suggestion, check whether the network is available, here is the FAQ:
    How to make a device emulator connect to the internet?

    Secondly, if network is available, please try to use completed url, like Http://www.malleswar.com

    Best regards,
