Border Bleeding into the space above.

    Question

  • I've got a simple border that looks like this:

    <Border BorderBrush="Green"

    BorderThickness="1,0"

    Background="Yellow"

    Name="HeaderBorder"/>

    When it draws, the horizontal parts of the border bleed into the space above it, like so:

    If I specify a BorderThickness of "1" all the way around, the control draws correctly.

  • I can't reproduce with the code snippet you include dropped into a Grid. Can you provide full details on what you're doing?

        <Grid Background="Magenta">
            <Grid.RowDefinitions>
                <RowDefinition />
                <RowDefinition />
                <RowDefinition />
            </Grid.RowDefinitions>
            <Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
                <ColumnDefinition />
                <ColumnDefinition />
                <ColumnDefinition />
            </Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
            <Border Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="1"
                BorderBrush="Green"
                BorderThickness="1,0"
                Background="Yellow"
                Name="HeaderBorder"/>

        </Grid>
