Certification failure not reproduceable, triagedump.dmp files don't seem to help locate the issue

    Question

  • Hi -

I have a Windows Store app I have submitted for certification that is failing, stating the app crashes on start up. I have tested the app on a Surface 2 (WinRT), x64, with internet, without internet, with debugging and without debugging and I am not having problems running it.

I've received the triagedump.dmp files and done the best I can with them based on information I've found online, but they never seem to point to anything particular that I can wrap my head around to fix.

When I debug in Mixed mode, the code breaks on a line like this:

    7543A70F  push        3

    Output window shows:

    Unhandled exception at 0x6CC2D6AF (Windows.UI.Xaml.dll) in triagedump.dmp: 0xC000027B: An application-internal exception has occurred (parameters: 0x0085C0B0, 0x00000002).

Anybody have any ideas on how to better go about locating the cause?

    Thanks,

    Jeff
