Create a large range dependent drop list RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am creating a sheet for inventory transactions, to illustrate I have many a range of 4000 SKU codes and each code have 1or 2 or sometimes 3 origins, all I need to do is allow the user to enter the SKU code  in one cell and the in the adjacent cell is a dependent drop list shows only the available origins related to this code.

I checked how to create a dependent drop list on the internet, but the only method i have found is to create defined lists but it is impossible create 4000 defined lists.

    Can any one support ?!

    Many thanx in advance

  • Excel 2010/2013/2016 Power Query (aka Get & Transform)
No formulas, no VBA macro, no dependent dropdowns.
