I use it for communictation with database (retrieve, update), different presentation styles (grid, graph ...), automatic generating of sql statements (like update, insert, delete) for each row.
This is so ridiculous. I am writing a "State-of-the-art" ASP.NET MVC application using Telerik controls. I am mourning my DataWindow days as we speak. I am just trying to get a computed column using their features and it sucks. Something
so simple in PowerBuilder like a computed Column Expression is not baked into the grid. I have no recceomndations, the DataWindow from 15 years ago was light years ahead of any front end components on the market today.
