IE not support split javascript function RRS feed

  • hi i am using split function in my javascript it  works fine in ff and crome but IE display error on split function so is there a way to use other function like split

  • A 15 second visit to Google suggests that browsers interpret the split function differently. Apparently IE does a poor job for anything that isn't very basic. This is unrelated to SharePoint.

  • it's absolutely related to SharePoint.  I put the same function in 201 and it works but not in 2013 SharePoint.  Same time, same browser, same network environment, same computer...etc...  its a bugggg MS.  sorry.  also having huge problems with indexOf().  big bummer because IT does not want to support customizations so we need the app to work OOB for us if we are to customize front end.
