Webcam fullscreen preview

    Question

  • Hello!

I want to create app for making photos. I would like to use fullscreen camera mode. I learned about camera from this tutorial: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh452791.aspx So I'm using Windows.Media.Capture.MediaCapture instead of CameraCaptureUI because I need custom controls.

My problem is.. I can't use fullscreen preview. When I open "Camera" app preview is on fullscreen, but in my app ratio looks like 4:3. I played with css but no result. Do you have any ideas?

    Thank you!

  • Can you post your app to Skydrive and share it here?

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.

  • Here is my code. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=62D08B69D0D794D3!1738&authkey=!ANcnwNZAvunZX7I

When you run this app you will see that camera is not at fullscreen.

  • OK, I see your problem.  I found a post that I think answers your question, although it's written in C#, but should have the same properties available.  Please check this out and let me know if it helps:
