Donate IAP

    Question

  • I was listening to DotNetRocks last week and heard a show about Windows Phone dev. He mentioned his free apps have a donation page with 5 different dollar amounts (1 5) to donate.

Is it possible to IAP a donate page?

In not, anyway to do this?

    Thanks

  • You would just create 5 different IAP's.

When the user taps donate, show them your app's IAP's (get the prices for their region from the store API's with CurrentApp.LoadListingInformationAsync.)

The user picks one, you direct them to the store and they complete the purchase/donation.

For example, you could make IAP's like : Donate A, Donate B, Donate C...

The reason I wouldn't use "Donate $1.00" as an IAP name is that the currency for your client will certainly differ by region.
