Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and Crystal Reports for .NET RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Visual Studio 2010 and I understand that it is now a separate install for Crystal Reports for .NET.  I have not installed Crystal Reports for .Net yet.   I have done some preliminary development in Visual Studio 2010 - taking an existing rpt file and exporting it to other formats using references to Crystal Report libraries.  My question is:  If I haven't installed Crystal Reports for .Net what is the technical term for the development I am doing with the crystal report libraries?  If I haven't installed Crystal Reports for .NET ...  am I using a shell of that?  Thanks in advance for any response!

  • Hi Harry,

Thanks for your response.  I do have Crystal Reports 2008 (full version) installed.  I also have Visual Studio 2008 with CR for .Net installed (in addition to Visual Studio 2010).  I must be using a library from one of those instances.

    Thanks.
