Switching from Windows to Mac RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I switch from Windows 10 to the current version of Mac, do I need to re-write my written-in-Windows-10 excel macros to the written-in-Mac version?

To be more clear: I have Excel installed on my Windows 10 computer and one large .xlsm file has macros in it. I am thinking of switching from Windows to Mac. If I purchase Excel for the new Mac, will I be able to use my current .xlsm file on the Mac without having to re-write all of my current macros?

  • Hi,

I would like to suggest "Leap before look".

It is heard that several issues are in Excel for Mac (macro). But it cannot be noticed before execute the macro in Mac.
If you encounter some error in Excel for Mac, make correction of it.  If you don't encounter errors, that is fine.
