Windows forms, background window receiving keystrokes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok i realize this is a blatently stupid question, we are running Windows Ce 6.0 and developed a Qt application. We also developed a backdoors app to mess with settings for us platform developers and other app dev's.

I'm unfamiliar with windows forms, or the actual windows... We start the backdoors app through a keystroke sequence, its an overlapped sequence which I just fixed the key pad driver to not trigger any keys pressed while a key is held down so the sequence doesn't interfere with the Qt app.

The problem is even after our backdoors app starts and is in front, the Qt app continues to take keystroke commands. I have no idea where to start looking so our background Qt app stops receiving key events while in the background.

I don't know how to control this, is it part of the app properties? Is it a problem with Qt? do i have to set up wince to stop sending keys to background windows?  Is this just a wince thing?

any help would be great thanks!
