  • Hi Grafraith,

    Some clarification with you:
When did you receive this JIT debugging dialog box?
Is this an application that you have written?  Or is this some 3rd party application that is running on your machine?

Based on the stack trace, it looks as if it is caused formatting exception. This kind of exception will be thrown when the format of an argument does not meet the parameter specifications of the invoked method.
For more information, please see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.formatexception.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/34see4yz.aspx

To narrow down the possible cause of corrupted .NET Framework, we can try Verification tool to verify .NET Frameworks on your machine.

After doing some research, for Alg.exe, it seems to be a virus when it is located in other folders instead of C:\Windows\System32. Could you please try running Anti-virus software to have a check?
    See: http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/alg.exe.html

If you don't want to see Just-In-Time Debugging dialog box, you can just simply turn off this feature.
Please see:  How to: Enable/Disable Just-In-Time Debugging

Hope this helps. If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,
    Yichun Chen
