  • Hi Friends ,

    I am Sidhanta Tripathy. I have moss 2007 site. I want to search a document in the site which in turn will return the url location of the document. 

    So Please guide me how to configure searching of document in sps 2007 site preferably without coding.

    Hi Sidhanta,

    Could you give me more detailed description of the issue? I means your document can’t search ?

    1. Please go to Shared Services Administration->Search->Search setting->content sources and crawl schedules
    2. New Content Source->Start Address, for example, my file address is http://jack-7716f30e37:2012/personal/Test/Shared%20Documents/People.doc, So, I put the address in the box of start address. Please checked “Start full crawl of this content source </label><//label>”
    3. Wait the crawl complete.

    Then search your special document.
