Data Factory - Sink Activity Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I have a pretty simple Data Factory pipeline running, but it is my first one so I don't know it well.

It makes an API call, gets a JSON response, and then sticks that data in a SQL database table.

All connections, deploying, and provisioning seems to go fine and everything connects.  When the actual pipeline runs, the source seems to run OK, but when the sink side runs it spits out this error:

Copy activity encountered a user error at Source side: ErrorCode=UserErrorMashupCredentialError,'Type=Microsoft.DataTransfer.Common.Shared.HybridDeliveryException,Message='Type=Microsoft.Data.Mashup.MashupCredentialException,Message=The credentials provided for the Web source are invalid. (Source at [Privacy],',Source=,'.

So, the source side seems to run OK, then the sink side says the source side has invalid credentials.  Has anyone encountered this?

Also, just in case, privacy is actually the correct web address of the API call.  I am using basic authentication.

    Derek
