LDAP server sends rst after recieving FIN,ACK RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our LDAP server are sending a RST after receiving a FIN,ACK. This is causing an issue in our network.  Is this normal operation for the LDAP server? Can I configure the server to not send the RST?

Below are the last four packets from a network trace.

  • Where you able to solve this? I'm having the same issue. I tried to do what is described here:, except that I have using Windows 2008 R2 x64 servers and I don't know if the timeouts apply to this server version (it is described as 2003 there).
